Privacy statement
Who we are
Coriolens is responsible for processing personal data through this website and the customer portal. Privacy questions can be sent to wim@techbs.nl.
What data we process
Through the contact form: your name, company, e-mail address, your interest and your message. If you e-mail us directly, the data in that e-mail.
For a customer portal account: name, company, e-mail address, an encrypted password, the time of signing in and which editions are released for your account.
What the applications do with your meter data
Coriolens Analyse, Verify and Fleet run in your browser. The exports, meter tickets and meter documents you load are read on your own computer and never sent to our server. Meter documents are not stored in your browser either.
When you open an application through the customer portal, the portal only records usage: which application, the type of action (for example "export loaded" or "PDF created"), the file name and the time. Never the content. Coriolens Fleet fetches the vessel’s tank data through the server from the supplier of the tank gauging system, using the server’s own account.
Why and for how long
We use your data to answer your question, manage your account and provide the service (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Messages are kept no longer than needed and in any case no longer than two years after the last contact. Account data are deleted when the account is closed. The usage log keeps at most the latest 20,000 events.
Cookies
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no analytics services. The contact form uses a temporary session cookie against abuse. The customer portal uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and a cookie that remembers your language. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties, except service providers needed to run the website and e-mail (hosting and e-mail).
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, restrict processing, object and request data portability. Send your request to wim@techbs.nl; we reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
